I completely agree with the above comment, the internet is with a doubt growing into the most important medium of communication across the globe and its due to sites like this that ideas are spreading so quickly.

I live in a small island in Europe.
Would you suggest to me to come and live there in England.
I hope to find some info about "what people think about this country"

Everything is very different from here and it makes me curious
to visit:)

Thanks,

Actually, I *would* give a shit about Harrods - if only in regards to the pet department.

I once made my boyfriend try on a 100-pound Burberry dog collar there. The staff looked as though they were about to stab me, but whatever.

Hi Natalia & welcome...

That's one hell of a story about the collar, lol!! You know, I would say that perhaps more entertaining than the pet area is their food area. It's like walking into a fake city made of candy and tea.

Love that you received the death stab look from staff; I think that by now, they've perfected it beyond a shadow of a miss.

Cheers,
M

Greetings and salutations! The food department I skimmed briefly. I prefer Fortnum & Mason in that regard (talk about snobbery, right?).

The dog collar was a bit kinky, all things considered - perhaps the staff was worried that I'd make him try the leash next... And the riding crop...

THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH for such a flattering entry....I am going to link directly to it on my blog because I LOVE COMPLIMENTS! :)

Enough about me...No sh*t about snobbery "over there". My girlfriend prefers them with their squeeky clean outfits to those at Harrods. I would rather just watch and wait until someone - anyone - slips on the shiny floors....in any department ;)

LOL on the leash and the riding crop; that's some imagination....

Are you located in London?

Nah... My boyfriend's grandparents are British Arabs, and we'd like to move over there at some point (when we're making money and not living off mayonnaise, because in London we won't even be able to afford the mayonnaise).

Right now I'm in North Carolina ("C'mon and raise up" - as the rap song goes). I am originally from Ukraine.

Am planning on jumping ship and heading... somewhere... Soon. :)

Oh, and yes - your Gerry Butler posts are terrific. And the weird people who e-mailed you.... WTF?!?!?! It was hilarious, if creepy to read about it all.

Natalia, I like your WTF sentiment; you are most definitely my kind of gal.

So this evening is the big premiere of "300" and we will get to see Gerry in his leather speedo in all his glory. How FUN!

British Arabs. Well chosen, love...well chosen. I like your political sentiments on your blog; you are most definitely a woman after my own heart (so that falling in love bit, consider it reciprocated!).

London is a nightmare city to live in in terms of finance. One of my dearest girlfriends writes for several of the big female UK mags (ELLE, Cosmo, Glamour) and has a gigantic place right above Bethnal Greene tube station; it's technically two apartments...she uses the top floor and I get the complete apartment on the first floor. It's heaven, central and doesn't cost me a dime...so for that reason I can actually afford London :o)

Keep us posted on your travels, should you go!

“Yay! Codpiece!” I think is the most appropriate and the *only* thing one can say

Clever as always, Natalia…as always!
