You should be able to keep your comments when you hit republish, its worked for me in the past. I'm just trying to think of a creative way for you to 301 redirect the old blog to the new spot. more on that later.

Moving is a biotch, last time I was confronted with moving I just bought the place I lived in so I dont have to move anymore...
Good luck, and let me know if there is any help I can provide. There's got to be a way to redirect the site so you don't loose that Page Rank of 5.

BUT...although I can see everything on the temporary file page, none of it appears on the actual page. So I have to wait for that to happen before I can actually republish my site or add anything to it. This thing that I'm waiting for could take anywhere between 4 hours and 24 or some such thing. If you can name this thing, I will give you an honourary gold star in my head :)
Then...you'd better believe I'm going to ask you for help, lol!

Espy, I'm hugging you right back!! But it's actually because, apparently, if I'm to be taken seriously as some sort of blogger in the interWeb world, I must declare: 'I'm here for good!', and that means having my own domain name and paying for it. This is some sort of right of passage and it'll be complete once the...wait...wait for it...once the DNS Propegation is complete. Damn, I sound smart. Too bad I havn't a clue what I'm talking about :)
