Kul 3am wa antum bkheir & an art show in Montreal

Ramadan kareem

This weekend begins Ramadan and so a Ramadan Kareem to each and every one of you, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, agnostic, atheist & trans-religioned.

I wish you both inner and external peace.

And for those of you busy hating, I hope you chill the f*ck out I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Oh! And if you want to keep me in your prayers, you can ask that I receive any one of the following items, please:
- Yusturni
- Yi7meeni
- Ywafi2ni
- All of the above for my family, especially mama
- Lots of super hot shoes
- Peace in the middle east
- The perfect shade of rose lip gloss
- A dude

Also, if you can make it to Montreal on the 12th of October, please try to attend the Between States event. If you care about your civil liberties, come out and show your support for Darren Ell’s exhibition opening, where there will be a discussion on immigration and the national security policy in Canada.

I know, I know! I couldn't post C*ck-Ninja link because of the upcoming celebrations :( (& the fact that my mother would actually, really, have a heart attack).

And a ramadan kareem to you as well, ya Uzi. You're lucky to be experiencing it with so many others :)

Salaam.
meesho :)

I was wondering about the line break also; did you short circuit and spaz out accidentally hiting the enter button?

You know, I'd rather experience it at home. With friends. I used to make the best noodles for Iftaar when I lived off campus and my German housemate and I, would have Iftaar by candelight. That was cool.

But yeah, shisha after iftaar also rocks.

Thanks, Tommy.

Uzi, Noodles. Mmmmm. Everything sounds enticing when one is fasting, no?! Noodles by candlelight sounds awesome. Ya3ni, anything by candlelight is perfect :)

So, we're having a traditional breaking fast meal tonight which will be great since tomorrow am to break fast with dad and god only knows what that shall bring (fingers crossed he won't cook!).

I hope your first day of fasting was smooth >> we get to munch in 3 hrs & 45 min! Yay!

salam,
m

It was damn good. In my family, I take over some of the cooking duties in Ramadan. Having lived at uni for so long, I have become an expert at cooking snacks.

Our meal today was one for the ages. Definitely nopt doing that again tomorrow.

Oh, and Maha, speaking of picking up good deeds this Ramadan, and sticking to them ofcourse, how does the idea of visiting my blog and leaving a few comments strike you?

*wink wink nudge nudge....

Call it Sadqah if you must. 8-D

Uzi -- an expert at cooking snacks, eh? You know, if we weren't all so far apart, I'd have a blogger dinner where I'd invite everyone who visits over for iftar. That would be so nice :(
Maybe one day in the future...inshallah.

And yes, I will come over and comment. I promise, I promise!!

Thanks T.

& to you as well ya beautiful Anjum.

AAAAH!

NO!!!!!

Who did this? The blasphemy outright disgusts me. This is not good, not fair at all.

How can one smash another's small moments of zen in life so callously? How I ask you?

When I click on to your old blog address now, as I always do when I intend to visit your current site, it immediately transfers me to this address, without any pause or any warning.

I demand an immediate reversal of this fiendish computer code that is bent on ruining the momentary pleasure I get from seeing you, Maha, in (what to me is) 'the' Buenos Aires shirt.

This is horrible. Truly, utterly horrible. I want to visit that site first, then this site, thats how I like it. Why oh Maha, why, in this holy moth of Ramadan would you want to take away such a trivial, yet obviously important, pleasure from me?

I shall now go and rant about this somewhere else, but be warned... I sulk like no man on earth. I swear to you.. I WILL flood your email inbox. You shall rue the day you listed your email address on your blog.

If its war you want medmesoille, war you shall have. You have made a dangerous enemy today. Desist, now!

(please?)..

ps: Any insinuations to me being crazy or being a "stalker".. are completely baseless, and anyone uttering such untruths shall be prosecuted under the full force of Qatari law. In about three years time- It just takes that long here. But I can hold a grudge.

Lisa - A volumizing lipstick on me? That may be fun!! But not during Ramadan, staghfara allah al3azeem ;)

Thanks for all the links, doll!

Uzi - That diatribe/monologue of yours has to be one of the funniest things anyone has ever left here, lol!!!!

Thanks to John, there's a 3 second redirect or something. So that when people go to the original onefemalecanuck.blogspot.com, they are immediately redirected here! It's always been that way, but maybe the day you felt robbed of this right was a day that your internet was speedier?

And I believe it's that photo you like, right? I linked to it directly for you in another comment section...didn't you get it?

...I am pleased you have been satiated and your internet has slowed down.

This has been a terribly weird week, as you're the fourth boy to ask me if I mind being stalked. Stalk away, friend! :)
