The comments of the last blog entry got me to thinking that a fine lookin’ man with a fine brain, exceptional political beliefs and priorities in order deserves an entry all to his lonesome. This is the sexiest ad which made me take notice of Jake Gyllenhaal…believe it or not, for the political message and his arms alone.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you….I’ve been really stressed out these past few days with work & co-workers who need a good bodyslam into the filing cabinets once in a while to shake up their moronic attitudes, & dealing with my ex getting remarried in 2 weeks & ALL of the unfamiliar feelings that THAT’S bringing on, and trying to always do the right thing while asking “But is the right thing right for me?”, and of course being a mom as best I can even when the 2 loves of my life make me sometimes want to poke my eye out with a letter opener…..so I’m getting caught up on reading your posts, which help to bring perspective and humour to my crazy life.
And this morning, you have blessed me with Jake. I am speechless at the sheer beauty of this man, inside and out (well as much of his insides as we can glean from interviews). I mean, LOOK AT HIM! Pure hotness & intensity. The kind of guy you can see fixing up his car (in your driveway), then cleaning up real nice to take you out for drinks & intelligent conversation.
Nothing is sexier than a brainy, sensitive man with convictions and opinions. With eyes that….and arms that…and lips that….and those shoulders…
Jarhead is an excellent movie, propelling you into a whole different way to see conflict…that’s where I first saw him & just about melted on the spot.

Jarhead is interesting as a movie, great eye candy if you love Jake. At one point he runs around in nothing but a strategically placed santa hat. Worth a rental I think.
