Sumaira! A comment!! I'm so excited that you've come out and made yourself known :)

Alexandra, it really *is* as yummy as it looks, most especially if you add the pine nuts. It's a little heavier, but so tasty, it's unbelievable. They just need to be browned until golden...

Espy, your Garters?? My oh my...
As for your recipe, I should've known; likely you're half Palestinian already :o)

Thanks for the recipe. Although I'm partial to Hummus! CoSTCO!, which allows me to bypass the whole smushing thing, may I suggest an alternative garnish that's rarely used around these parts: Sumac. In addition to its unique taste, its color (red) makes for a nice contrast. For those keeping track, let's call this version Hummus! YiPPEE! :)

International cooking is a passion and weakness. Aside from that, I'm increasingly vegetarian, but let's face it--HUMMUS!YIPPEE is GOOD. Perfect *anytime* and so satisfying. Love the garlic creaminess.

Espy (you should be lauded for sharing the recipe, Maha!) xoxoxox

To make things even fattier, I added extra butter to the pine nuts. YAY is right!
