Reading about the snow peas made me happy.

When I used to do grocery shopping with a former roommate, we sometimes would eat an entire baguette while shopping and then just hand in the empty bag at checkout to pay for it. It led to some interesting reactions from the cashiers. We were conducting an un-intentional, informal social experiment, really…:)

I’ll be back to answer everyone else’s comments, but I just wanted to quickly welcome Sue from Pennsylvania and Warrior Two. I also wanted to let Warrior know that nothing will be found about that particular subject matter as it’s much too personal for me to discuss out loud and here

Fathima – thank you! I’ll take a look at this this weekend. You know, I don’t own a tv…at baba’s, he keeps it on bbc and at mama’s it’s always on satellite. I have the radio on in the house and if I need to watch anything, it’s all dvd. If I did own a tv, it would be to simply hook her up to my mac so I can enjoy a larger screen. I completely understand your sentiment

Hi Alexandra! Smiles are another form of big warm hugs so happy to make you smile…one of my best friends does that in the grocery store. She eats through entire bags of stuff and then hands off the bag for scanning. Needless to say, she too has received some strange looks from not so imaginative folk (boo!)
