Thanks Sandy & Maria :)
Sandy - nice to see you commenting LIVE! (Email still and always welcome, of course.)

CLAY! When at the Salt Lick, it was explained to me that there are two kinds of ice tea >> regular and sweetened, which is buried in sugar. I love the Southern culture...minus the racism and freaky religious inclinations, yes... :)

As per the tea / British thing - it sort of makes sense. Canucks are Commonwealth!

JayDub calls Canada 'the hat of America'. I like how you describe us better :)

JANEY - I miss them more, I am certain :)
Next time, I'm getting one whole pound of lean bbq briskette. YUM.

Thanks, Lily - always nice to make you laugh. Austin is an inspiration all over the place! I would LOVE to be a travel-writer, only can't imagine people want to know about the mundane...but this blog does me just fine (for now)!

LLLLIIIIISSSSAAAAA - HIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!! Your play on words - being taken to a meat market? Perfect. And prey TELL > if not the Meat Market, where shall I find my stories, woman? :)
I miss you.
Can't wait to write about our day..xo

xoxo
m

"He was Canadian. And the angel doves sang..." XD

We only have iced, sugar-sweetened tea in the South, and I would say that most of our impressions of tea that is different from that come from British stereotypes (hence the nettle tea question).

I think it's great how any unusual behavior can be explained by being Canadian: everyone knows you guys are our wacky, oddball neighbors to the north!
