I'm sorry that snow means hard work with scary lovers/machinery/appliances and dealing with dangerous drivers. I was pretty excited about it snowing here (I still am) but I think that's pretty contingent on not having to shovel where I live and not having to drive with the maniacs.

Knowing the damage they could cause if they run away, they are designed so they CANNOT run away.. they only do anything as long as you are holding on to the bar and pressing it, the moment you let go, it stops. If you blow the snow onto the neigbour and feel guilty, you can go clear the curb part of their drivway after the street is cleaned.. trust me if you do that for them, they will welcome any snow that blows from your way :-)<br /><br /> Make your neigbour guy feel good about his manliness and ask him to help you out the first time.. He will feel very good about saving a damselle in distress and you will get over your fear of Ms Blower.. she is well worth investing in getting to know her.. trust me, she is. And indeed, she does not like doing the little stuff so she will be happy to leave it to Mr Shovel and he will be happy to leave the big stuff to her.. just same old man-woman relationship :-) Sorry guys, had to throw it in!
