The Transition

We went from the above, to the following –

And then to this sunset –

It was our  last day on the island. We have one night in Salvador, a 6am flight to Sao Paolo, and then a second flight to our destination.

We took that boat again across the water, only this time, we were armed to the teeth – two nausea tablets 90 minutes before boarding, and early arrival so we could secure seats outside on the deck. I picked up some Sprite, just in case.

Smoothest transportation ride imaginable. Neither myself nor Natty felt a thing, other than a little tiny bit of snooziness. Nicely done, Brazil medication.

We are rolling quietly at present, since there is much movement across our 24 hours. I’m good with the slower pace for the day and excited about what the next few days will bring.

While I’m thinking about our next Canadian government, it’s lovely to see your brightness again, Salvador. You’ve got me wondering if I should do one more trip somewhere during the month of November, the last month of this sabbatical. Do send me your recs, friends.

Today, I am grateful for:
1. Nausea medication that works.
2. Fresh, clean air.
3. That the unicorn welt (in the middle of my forehead) is gone.
