The Intention

I have been thinking much about intention – what it means to behave with the purest of intentions and what it looks like when one does not do this.

Off the top of my head, I can’t think of any task or thing which I have undertaken with foul intention. Rather, always and only with the softest intention, one worn without lie or shadow. I think, perhaps, this is why when I have had to walk away from a thing, I have had peace of mind and heart about my behaviour.

I do wish that more people exercised such kindness. To be of good intention on the inside and to wear this kindness all over their actions.

Today, I am grateful for:
1. Having friends all over the world. You are making my time spent away from home, home.
2. Bread, a delivery mechanism for butter. Yum.
3. Safe spaces. This home is a safe space, and I am grateful for it because I cannot be but in a safe space at present.
